Hello! It's going to be a busy week at JES! Report cards went home Friday. Please check your student's backpack. This week is Red Ribbon Week. Each day has a dress-up theme. Celebrate being drug-free with us! Tuesday is Storytelling Festival field trip for 3rd & 5th graders. Please get those permission slips turned in. Thursday night is our Fall Festival! Friday, we will go to Ardmore for the Playing for Preemies pep rally. Permission slips will go out at the beginning of the week. Make sure to get those back in. If your student participated in the Fall Fundraiser / Cookie Dough Sales, please make arrangements to pick up his/her items on Friday, October 20th. You may pick up items between the times of 12:00pm-4:00pm at Johnson Elementary School. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL OF YOUR SUPPORT!!!

Join us tonight at 6pm for our August PTO meeting!

The luau is tonight from 6-8pm outside by the Johnson gym. The class with the most attendance will receive a prize from PTO. Kona Ice and Nomad Road Dogs are here! Come join the fun!

Please join us this Friday, August 18th for a Luau hosted by our JES PTO from 6-8pm by the gym. Also, on Friday, everyone can dress is their Hawaiian attire for the occasion.

Don't forget that tomorrow is the turn in date for anyone who wanted to participate in the annual pet food and supply drive in honor of Mrs. Dison's daughter Sasha, who lost her battle to cancer. This would've been Sasha's 19th birthday. I hope we can have items donated tomorrow to show our love to Mrs. Dison.

Good afternoon! Today we have all our students present in K so our car line will be a little longer. Monday we finished at 3:13. Tuesday at 3:07. Yesterday was early dismissal. It is going smoothly and getting better each day. Thank you for your patience as all our students are learning/re-learning car line procedures. Reminders: 1. Please keep the distance between each car at a minimum. 2. Load and unload from the passenger side of the car. 3. First car-- pull all the way down and passed the last column labeled #1. All other cars pull up leaving a small space between each car. This ensures we get all 8 cars loading by the sidewalk. **Still trying to determine if we need 2 rows of cars. Summer Bridge Book- if your child finished it, last day to bring back is tomorrow- Friday, Aug. 11. School starts at 7:35 and ends at 2:40. Thank you for your help, cooperation, and feedback!
